Hermès special order colors 2026

Hermès changes its special order colors every year. Each season, sales associates receive a chart of the leathers, colours and hardware that clients may choose. The 2026 chart, as reported by PurseBop, includes the colours below. Not every colour is offered in every leather or model.

Chèvre Mysore

Noir, Bleu Navy, Ardoise, Rouge H, Etoupe, Gris Perle, Nata, Jaune Milton, Vert Fizz, Rose Darling, Caramel, Orange, Rouge de Coeur.

Epsom

Noir, Bleu de Prusse, Rouge Grenat, Vert Mangrove, Ardoise, Etoupe, Gris Pantin, Gold, Paille, Jaune Mango, Craie, Mauve Sylvestre.

Swift

Noir, Bai Brun, Vert Mangrove, Gris Etain, Etoupe, Gold, Biscuit, Craie, Jaune Mango, Mauve Pale, Rouge Grenat, Bleu Jean, Gris Pantin.

Ostrich

Noir, Rouge Sellier, Vert Titien, Gris Asphalte, Gris Meyer, Bleu Glacier, Beton, Rouge Vif, Terre Cuite, Tangerine, Gold. Ostrich is back for 2026 after being dropped in 2025.

Matte and shiny crocodile

Matte: Noir, Graphite, Bleu Indigo, Vert d’Eau, Gris Neve, Vanille, Gold. Shiny: Noir, Bleu Saphir, Vert Rousseau, Graphite, Havane, Bordeaux, Framboise.

Verso lining colours

Noir, Bleu Indigo, Gris Perle, Gris Meyer, Gold, Nata, Bordeaux, Rouge de Coeur.

Hermès special order 2026: models and hardware

The first 2026 round in Paris offered only the Mini Kelly II and the Kelly Pochette. Later rounds added the Birkin 25, 30, 35 and 40, larger Kellys and, in the US, the Constance 18 and 24. Hardware for the Mini Kelly II is gold, palladium or permabrass. Brushed finishes are not offered on mini bags. Orders are usually taken twice a year, in spring and fall.

Hermès special order 2025

The 2025 palette kept most of the 2024 colours. Ostrich was removed from the special order list, and the Birkin Sellier 25 and 30 were dropped. There were no bright or pastel shades. The 2025 chart, as reported by PurseBop, was:

• Togo: Craie, Gris Perle, Gris Etain, Naturel Sable, Biscuit, Noir, Vert Rousseau, Bleu Nuit, Rouge Sellier, Bleu Saphir, Gris Meyer.
• Clemence: Nata, Etoupe, Gold, Beton, Noir, Bleu de Prusse, Vert Cypress, Macassar, Rouge H, Bleu Jean, Gris Meyer.
• Epsom: Craie, Biscuit, Gold, Noir, Bleu Saphir, Vert Cypress, Rouge Sellier, Bleu du Nord, Gris Meyer, Vert Jade.
• Swift: Beton, Biscuit, Gold, Beige de Weimar, Noir, Vert Rousseau, Caban, Ebene, Bleu Zellige, Gris Meyer, Vert Criquet.
• Chèvre: Nata, Etoupe, Kraft, Brique, Caramel, Noir, Rouge H, Deep Bleu, Navy, Bleu France, Vert Criquet.
• Matte alligator / crocodile: Vanille, Gold, Noir, Bleu Saphir, Vert Rousseau, Rouge Sellier, Vert d’Eau, Bleu Zellige.
• Shiny alligator / crocodile: Noir, Graphite, Bordeaux, Havane, Vert Rousseau, Vert Jade, Bleu Electrique.
• Linings: Gris Perle, Noir, Gold, Nata, Framboise, Orange Poppy, Bordeaux, Lime, Bleu Saphir, Bleu Indigo.

Hardware choices were gold, brushed gold, palladium, brushed palladium, rose gold and permabrass. Brushed finishes were not offered on the Mini Kelly.

Hermès special order 2024

The 2024 special order offered the Birkin 25 to 40 and the Kelly 20 to 35, in Retourne or Sellier, plus some non-quota bags such as the Picotin, Bolide, Lindy and Roulis. Leathers included Epsom, Chèvre, Togo and Clemence, with ostrich and crocodile for top clients. Brushed gold and brushed palladium stayed special-order-only finishes. Layouts were line, verso or two-tone multico. The Hermès 2024 special order colors chart circulated only as images, so we do not list it here. Most of its colours carried over into 2025.

Hermès special order 2023

Hermès colour charts usually stay the same for a year or more. Orders placed in fall 2022 and early 2023 used the 2022 chart below, as PurseBop explains. Rose Sakura and Nata in Chèvre were among the 2023 special orders. The big change came in fall 2023. Paper order forms and the red box of leather samples gave way to an iPad that shows a picture of the bag before it is made.

Hermès special order 2022 and Hermès special order 2021

The 2021–2022 season had one of the largest charts, as listed by PurseBlog. It also added a new Casaque layout for Sellier Birkins and Kellys.

• Togo: Craie, Gris Perle, Trench, Biscuit, Alezan, Gold, Gris Tourterelle, Rouge Sellier, Noir, Jaune Poussin, Rouge Casaque, Capucine, Rose Mexico, Bleu Zellige, Bleu Saphir, Bleu Nuit, Menthe, Vert Rousseau.
• Clemence: Blanc, Nata, Trench, Alezan, Gold, Gris Tourterelle, Gris Etain, Rouge Sellier, Noir, Lime, Rouge Casaque, Rose Sakura, Rose Extrême, Bleu Pâle, Bleu Zellige, Deep Blue, Bleu Nuit, Vert Cyprès.
• Epsom: Craie, Bleu Glacier, Biscuit, Alezan, Gris Asphalte, Graphite, Rouge Sellier, Noir, Jaune Poussin, Rouge Casaque, Capucine, Brique, Mauve Sylvestre, Rose Extrême, Bleu Brume, Bleu Zellige, Bleu Saphir, Vert Criquet, Vert Cyprès.
• Swift: Nata, Beton, Biscuit, Alezan, Gold, Gris Asphalte, Rouge Sellier, Noir, Rouge Piment, Capucine, Rose Sakura, Rose Extrême, Bleu Brume, Bleu Zellige, Navy, Vert Criquet, Vert Rousseau.
• Chèvre Mysore: Nata, Gris Perle, Gris Tourterelle, Etoupe, Noisette, Rouge Sellier, Noir, Lime, Rouge de Coeur, Capucine, Brique, Rose Sakura, Rose Mexico, Bleu Brume, Bleu Encre, Bleu Indigo, Vert Criquet, Menthe.
• Ostrich: Beton, Gris Perle, Gris Tourterelle, Graphite, Noir, Capucine, Cognac, Bleuet, Bleu Iris, Vert Vertigo.
• Verso linings: 26 shades, including Gris Perle, Noir, Gold, Rouge H, Bordeaux, Lime, Orange Poppy, Framboise, Rose Pourpre, Bleu Electrique, Bleu Saphir, Bleu Indigo, Malachite and Vert Bosphore.

Date stamps: U for 2022 and Z for 2021.

Hermès special order 2020

2020 used a short “A la Carte” colour chart, and some colours were limited by leather. For example, Craie was not offered in Chèvre that season. The second colour of a two-tone or verso bag had to come from a separate linings chart. Brushed gold, brushed palladium and permabrass were offered only on special orders. 2020 bags carry the Y date stamp.

Hermès special order 2019

In 2019 clients could choose two colours: one for the outside and one for the inside and straps, with tonal or contrast stitching. Birkins, Kellys and Constances were offered. Crocodile and alligator were not part of the normal special order, and ostrich was offered only some of the time. Tri-colour bags could no longer be ordered. 2019 bags carry the D date stamp.

Hermès special order 2018

By 2018, special order colours came from a set of current seasonal shades, and only two-colour bags were offered. Reported 2018 pairings include Epsom Rose Azalee with Noir, Epsom Etain with Noir, and Chèvre Jaune d’Or with Bleu Hydra. Birkins came in 25 to 40 and Kellys in 25 to 35. 2018 bags carry the C date stamp.

Hermès special order 2017

In 2017 Hermès stopped offering tri-colour special orders, leaving bi-colour designs only. Chèvre was a popular special order leather, with colours such as Rouge Tomate, Feu, Raisin, Bleu Saphir, Bleu Paon, Bleu Hydra, Etoupe, Moutarde and Noir. 2017 bags carry the A date stamp. Tri-colour bags on the resale market today were made before this change, which makes them very rare.
